ChrisShay Cockroft was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and moved to Port Charlotte in 2015. As the third oldest of seven children and the first-born daughter, ChrisShay often found herself caring for her younger siblings and cousins. This early experience sparked her passion for nurturing and educating young minds, a passion she carries with her into her role at Stars Academy. ChrisShay graduated from Charlotte High School in 2022 and is currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology at Florida SouthWestern State College. As a floater at Stars Academy, ChrisShay has the unique opportunity to work with various age groups, allowing her to support all classrooms and adapt to the needs of the children and staff. She loves the versatility of her role, where she can engage with children in different settings, providing them with a safe, enjoyable, and enriching environment. ChrisShay’s adaptability, reliability, and genuine care for the children make her an integral part of the Stars Academy team, where she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of the young learners she works with every day.
